SmartGaon joins hands with UPDF in setting up Oximeter Bank in villages especially in Uttar Pradesh to spread awareness about Oxygen & Pulse level and Happy Hypoxia condition where the patient does not know that their blood oxygen level is low and continue with their daily activities. Our goal was to spread awareness and get the Covid-19 treated at 1st stage itself so that the people do not require to go to the next level where Oxygen, Hospital, ICU support is required. According to medical experts, non-regular monitoring of oxygen saturation levels could result in organs shutting down and the condition can become life threatening, which has already been experienced by the country. As part of Phase 1, we are working in Maharajganj District (Uttar Pradesh) and setting up Oximeter Bank in Rural Areas with the help of Social Workers and Organizations like Umeed Foundation, Thuthibari Vikas Manch and Home & Health Welfare Society. For now we have set up Oximeter Banks in 37 Villages and 25 Villages are in queue with great local support and UPDF. As part of COVID19 Relief Campaign for Rural India, SmartGaon Team distributed COVID Safety Kit at SmartGaon Chitali (Satara , Maharashtra). 12 Oximeter & 12 Digital Thermometer to setup Oximeter Bank. 1 IR Thermometer for Village health workers. 20 PPE Kits & 100 N95 Masks to Villagers. Sodium hypochlorite Solution (50 Ltr) for Village sanitization. Thank You all for contribution & support for COVID19 Relief Campaign for Rural India. This is just the beginning for this golden cause.
